August Meeting & Dualsport Ride (Cleveland NF, partII)
| Who: | Everyone, including any family or interested friends. |
| What: | August meeting / short dualsport ride
Brief meeting regarding the September 6-8 camp and a couple other things and we're off. We'll have coffee and donuts, the breakfast of champions. Ok, it's not. It's still damn tasty, though. |
| Where: | (address no longer displayed) |
| When: | Saturday, August 10, 2002, 9:30a.m.
Please use the RSVP POLL on the homepage. |
| Ride: | If you've got a street-legal dualsport, be sure and join us. At 10:30a.m., we'll take off for yet another ride down the ridge of the Cleveland forest. Quite a few of you missed out the last time we did this and have asked if we'd do it again soon, so here you go. I will be cutting the ride short though, bailing out at Indian Truck Trail to return. If you'd rather keep going down to Elsinore, don't let that stop you. I'm sure there'll be others that want to. |

Stu - Someone else confirmed this to be the best location for
offroading/camping. It's 2-stroke friendly and everyone can take off from
right from the campground. We'll do Green Valley Lake when it's only dualsporters.
By the way, you wanna be our trail guide, since you seem to know the area
so well? I'm game for anything you can dish out. The only thing I shy from
is loose sand/gravel on excessively steep inclines. Not my idea of fun.
Jon Hicks, on the other hand, enjoys exactly that, especially if it simultaneously
involves a good roost battle.
