Hi all
Hope everyone enjoyed the holidays!

Well, a couple weeks ago I mentioned a possible road ride on Dec 28 or Jan 4, but guess how many expressed interest out of 100?  One. I realize it was rather late notice and it was around the holidays, but I figured there would've been a slightly better response than 1%. Anyway, here's our January ride...

January Road Ride
Who: Everyone on a roadbike, including any family or interested friends.
What: Road Ride through Ortega Highway and lunch in Dana Point Harbor.
If anyone knows a particular good place to stop there, let me know. Otherwise, we'll wing it.
Where: Meet at CoffeeTown - 1511 Rimpau Ave. (cross street: Magnolia), Corona. 909-280-0500. Map HERE.
When: Saturday, January 25, 9:30am.
We leave at 10:00!
Other: No RSVP. Just show up.

February Offroad Day or Weekend
Anyone have suggestions on where? Would there be any interest for a camp, considering it's February?

March 16 event (dualsport)
The Ride 4 Kids dualsport event out of Glen Helen is coming around again. If you have a dualsport, please show up. It's not only a great day of riding with a big turnout, but it's really for a great cause. It makes for a ride day you'll remember.

November 02's LABtoV ride
I know a few of you made it out to this back on Thanksgiving weekend. Unfortunately, I couldn't.
Have any photos to share? Maybe post at
http://photos.groups.yahoo.com/group/coronariders/lst ?

Free Catalogs
If you don't already know of this company, check it out. They've got loads of great products, make the best all-around roadriding suits I know are available (I just bought one) and great service. Anyway, there's a link for free catalogs at the bottom of their page, http://www.aerostich.com. No, this is not a paid commercial. I just like the company and thought you might appreciate the tip.

SBNF reopened back in November
Yes, I realize this is old news to some of you. San Bernardino NF was closed to all offroad access due to fire hazards in the fall. It was reopened just before the LABtoV event on Thanksgiving, thanks to some needed rainfall.

Lotus Tours dirt bike camp
I was considering planning a weekend of this in the spring or summer:
http://www.lotustours.com/ourtours/california.html
but I recently found out it's $1925 for a weekend. It sure sounds like a great weekend, but for that kind of mula,
I think it'd require an all-you-can-eat, 24-hour steak and lobster personal kiosk (and bar) to follow you around
with foot massage while you're eating.
Anyone know of other camps at a much more reasonable expense?

Air Bags are a reality!

Not in the USA yet, but inevitably will be.

More crap you didn't know you wanted at the club store.
